Brite rings NASDAQ bell


Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that the Company’s founder, chairman and CEO, Gil Shwed, along with Trevor Smith, Vice President of Brite Computers, will participate in the NASDAQ opening bell ceremony at the NASDAQ Stock Market on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, to commemorate the Company’s continuous growth and product innovation. The ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time at NASDAQ MarketSite Times Square Studio in New York City.

Check Point reported record quarterly results for the second quarter that ended June 30, 2009. The quarterly results came in at the high-end of company’s projections with 12 percent year over year growth in revenues and non-GAAP earnings per share. Revenue growth came from all regions and represented Check Point’s highest quarterly revenues to date.
