I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. This is the first in what is to become a monthly news letter designed to keep you informed as to what new technologies and products are being offered for Public Safety.
For those of you who I have not met or spoken with I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
In 2007 I retired at the rank of Captain after almost 29 years in law enforcement. I joined Brite Computers after having managed the Monroe County, NY, mobile computer implementation that Brite was a vital part of. During this experience I came to realize and respect what Brite is doing to enhance Public Safety mobile communications around the country. Eventually I decided to retire and Brite hired me as a subject matter expert to act as a consultant to public safety with regard to the design and implementation of the mobile office.
Brite Computers was founded in 1983 and has been devoted to public safety since 1996. Over these years Brite Computers has become a leader in providing custom in-vehicle computing solutions designed specifically for Police, Fire, and EMS vehicles.

Fujitsu T5010 & T4410 Solutions
In 2005 Brite was the first computer company to introduce the Fujitsu semi-rugged convertible laptops into the Public Safety arena. In the fall of 2009 Fujitsu release their first semi-rugged convertible tablets that incorporates the dual digitizer screen making these true Dual digitizer display supports both pen and multi-touch screen. Brite has already had new mounting solutions designed for both of these units.
