Captain's Corner January 2010

From the Captain

While we are at the start of another decade and New Year I would like to take the time to remember all of our brother and sister law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty in 2009. While 2009 saw a decrease in the number of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, even one officer is too many. On average 60,000 officers are assaulted annually resulting in approximately 16,000 injuries. For the sake of the over 900,000 law enforcement officers in the United States we must remain steadfast against the criminal element and ensure that all law enforcement officers have the training, the tools and the newest technology at their disposal to aid in keeping them safe.

The employees at Brite truly believe in the mission of law enforcement and look forward to a SAFE and prosperous New Year for all of our friends.

Sincerely,

Mark Bonsignore
