Dear Friends:
It’s been a great year so far here at Brite Computers. We have seen record results in the first six months of the year and we are excited about continuing our growth pattern during the second half of 2007. Our first half success was fueled by tremendous growth in our Public Safety and Data Security business segments. We were awarded and began the installation of what many are calling the “largest” joint Fire and EMS deployment in the Country. We have continued to invest time and energy into growing our presence in this vertical market by continuing to hire new staff members, attend regional and national trade show events, aggressively tele-market and update our online Public Safety Catalog on a daily basis.
On the security side, we sold and installed over 10,000 seats of Pointsec/Check Point’s whole disk encryption software, Pointsec for PC, up and down the East Coast. As a result of our success and commitment to the product, Brite Computers received the “Data Security Partner of the Year Award” at Check Point’s Annual Conference in Orlando, Fl. Also helping to fuel the security business was our continued success with Air Defense’s Wireless Intrusion Detection (WID) platform. This product continues to be the leader in the Gartner Group’s Magic Quadrant for WID and is proving to help solve many HIPPA and PCI security concerns for our Health, Retail and Banking customers.
