Q: I want to roll out to larger organisation - what to do?
A: There are many features and configuration alternatives available that are not included in the standard configuration. If you are considering a larger deployment, please contact sales@alertsec.com and we will be happy discuss your requirements with you.
Q: What are the users able to do themselves?
A: Users can get password help and other assistance by contacting the Alertsec 24/7 helpdesk. Users are not authorized to uninstall - coordinators do that from the customer account on the Alertsec Xpress website.
Q: How do I deploy?
A: Just login to your account on the Alertsec Xpress website and add the users you would like to deploy to. Tick their boxes and press deploy and the deployment email will go out to the registered email addresses. The user clicks on the install link and the pre-configured installation is down loaded to that PC.
Q: Can I see if a user installed?
A: Yes, you can follow the rate of deployment from your account on the Alertsec Xpress website. Each user has an audit trail which includes date and time and which allows you to see when the deployment was prompted and when it was finalized.
Q: What if we want to reset the PC and reinstall all the software?
A: Simply reformat and install on top of the old installation. A new Alertsec Xpress deployment must be done to encrypt the disk again.
