This semi-rugged in-vehicle solution includes the
all-new Fujitsu Lifebook T4220 Tablet computer
installed in a Ford Crown Victoria using an in-dash mounting system.
To maintain airbag compliance integrity in a Ford Crown Victoria the AM/FM radio is removed from the dash and relocated on the center console beneath the keyboard tray. A mounting bracket is then inserted into the dashboard which allows the tablet to be locked into place and out of the airbag compliance zone.
